DNS Data

RFC 5782 states that:

  • The standard response for an entry is 127.0.0.2

  • The rbldns data file must contain a test record for the IP address 127.0.0.0.2, There must be NO entry for 127.0.0.1

Also:

  • The rbldns data files TXT record should point to a website explaining why an IP is in the database, what the effect of this is and how to remove it (if at all).
